The Consulate-General of Myanmar in Kunming is pleased to announce the opening of admission for Myanmar Language Courses at two prestigious institutions: Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL) and Mandalay University of Foreign Languages (MUFL). These programs are offered under the auspices of the Ministry of Education to meet the growing demand for Myanmar language education among foreign learners.

The following programs are available for international students interested in studying the Myanmar language:

1. Master’s Degree – 3 years
2. Bachelor’s Degree – 4 years
3. Diploma – 2 years
4. Proficiency Classes – 1 year (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)

The language programs are designed to provide comprehensive instruction at different levels, from beginners to advanced, to help learners achieve fluency in Myanmar language and gain a deep understanding of Myanmar’s culture and society.

Application Procedure:

Interested international students who wish to apply for the Myanmar language courses should submit their applications through Myanmar Consulate-General in Kunming of China. The application package must include the following documents:

1. A letter of recommendation from Myanmar Consulate-General in Kunming, verifying the authenticity of the applicant.
2. Copies of academic qualifications in English, as mentioned in the application form.
3. One letter of recommendation on the applicant’s academic competency (name, designation, and address of the recommender must be included).
4. One letter of recommendation on the applicant’s character (name, designation, and address of the recommender must be included).
5. A declaration regarding the financial support for the applicant’s stay in Myanmar.
6. A copy of the applicant’s passport.

All applications must be forwarded through the applicant’s embassyto the following address for processing:
